Turn PowerPoint slides into a mind map
Sixty slides in a row hide how the lecture was built. A mind map puts the deck's topics on one screen, with what belongs under each, so you see the structure the lecturer had in mind.

How it works
- Download the slides from your course page and choose Upload a document in Memo.
- Memo reads the text and the images on every slide and fills in what bullet points only hint at.
- The first time you open the Mind map tab, Memo maps the whole note, however long it is.
- Start from the centre, open one branch at a time and try to say what is under it before you open it.
What you get
- A mind map of every topic in the material and how they connect
- Branches you open one at a time, so a big subject stays readable
- Search across the whole map
- A picture of the map you can save
Tips for the best result
- Map each lecture's slides, then compare the maps: the topics that keep coming back are the ones the exam will ask about.
- Revise by opening one branch at a time and explaining it before you look.
What you can upload
PowerPoint presentations (.pptx), and slides exported from Google Slides or Keynote as .pptx or PDF. Memo reads the slide text and looks at the slides themselves, so diagrams are not lost.
Old .ppt files are not supported yet. Open the file and save it as .pptx or PDF first.
Questions
Can I save the mind map?
Yes, as a picture, to keep next to your notes or print.
Can I use Google Slides?
Yes. In Google Slides choose File → Download → Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF, then upload that file.
My slides are only bullet points. Is that enough?
Usually, yes. Memo explains the topic each slide names, so short slides still turn into notes you can learn from. If you also recorded the lecture, upload the recording too: it carries what the lecturer said around the slides.
Does the mind map leave parts out?
No. Memo maps the whole material, so a long chapter gets a bigger map rather than a shorter one.
