Turn PowerPoint slides into a quiz
It is easy to flick through slides and feel that you know them. A quiz shows whether you do. Memo writes questions from the slide deck itself, including the parts the bullet points only hint at.

How it works
- Download the slides from your course page and choose Upload a document in Memo.
- Memo reads the text and the images on every slide and fills in what bullet points only hint at.
- Open the Quiz tab and Memo writes a multiple-choice quiz covering the material from start to finish.
- Take the quiz without looking at the notes, then reread the parts behind the questions you got wrong.
What you get
- Multiple-choice questions written from your own material
- The right answer shown after every question
- A score at the end, so you know how ready you are
- Quizzes you can print
Tips for the best result
- Quiz yourself right after reading the slides once, then again before the exam.
- If you keep missing questions on one slide, open the note: it explains what the slide only lists.
- Teachers: print the quiz from the note for a quick in-class check.
What you can upload
PowerPoint presentations (.pptx), and slides exported from Google Slides or Keynote as .pptx or PDF. Memo reads the slide text and looks at the slides themselves, so diagrams are not lost.
Old .ppt files are not supported yet. Open the file and save it as .pptx or PDF first.
Questions
Does the quiz follow the order of the slides?
It covers the deck from start to finish, so every part of the lecture gets questions.
Can I use Google Slides?
Yes. In Google Slides choose File → Download → Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF, then upload that file.
My slides are only bullet points. Is that enough?
Usually, yes. Memo explains the topic each slide names, so short slides still turn into notes you can learn from. If you also recorded the lecture, upload the recording too: it carries what the lecturer said around the slides.
Are the questions about my material or general knowledge?
About your material. Every question comes from what you uploaded, so it checks what your exam will ask.
Try it on your own material.
Upload a lecture, a PDF or your slides and get notes, flashcards and a quiz in a few minutes.
