Turn a Word document into flashcards
Notes you typed during the semester are a good start, but rereading them is not revision. Upload the Word document and Memo turns it into flashcards, so your own notes become something that tests you.

How it works
- Choose Upload a document in Memo and pick the .docx file. Notes you wrote yourself work as well as documents from your teacher.
- Memo reads the whole document, headings included, and uses its structure to decide what belongs together.
- Open the Flashcards tab on the note and Memo writes a deck on the concepts, definitions and facts that matter most.
- Go through the deck, mark each card, and repeat the rounds until every card is known.
What you get
- A deck of question-and-answer cards covering the key concepts
- Cards you flip and grade as known or not yet known
- The cards you missed come back in the next round until you know them
- Decks you can print and take with you
Tips for the best result
- Clear headings in the document help Memo group the cards by topic.
- Upload a document per topic rather than one file for the whole semester.
What you can upload
Word documents (.docx), and plain text, Markdown, RTF and HTML files.
