How it works
- Open Memo, choose Upload a document and pick the PDF from your phone or computer.
- Memo reads every page, including the scanned ones, and works out how the material is structured.
- Open the Quiz tab and Memo writes a multiple-choice quiz covering the material from start to finish.
- Take the quiz without looking at the notes, then reread the parts behind the questions you got wrong.

Tips for the best result
- Take the quiz before you feel ready. A wrong answer now is cheaper than one in the exam.
- After the quiz, reread only the sections behind your mistakes, then take it again.
- For a whole course, quiz each PDF separately, then retake the ones with the lowest scores.
What you can upload
Any PDF: lecture handouts, exported slides, textbook chapters, articles. Scanned PDFs work too, because Memo reads the pages as images when there is no text in them.
A very large PDF is best split by chapter. One note per chapter is also easier to revise than one note for a whole textbook.
Questions
Can teachers use it to make a quiz from a PDF?
Yes. Upload the material and print the quiz from the note: it comes out as a clean paper.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes. When a page is a picture rather than text, Memo reads the picture, so scanned handouts and photographed books work too.
Does the PDF have to be in English?
No. Memo writes the study material in the language the PDF is in.
